Music

Music is a huge part of my life. After playing clubs in the Boston and Lowell areas, college gigs, and recording full-length studio "albums" with some of the most talented people I've ever met, I have a huge appreciation for every kind of music, but moreso, how the music brings people together. Performing/recording are some of my favorite things to do. Take a listen to Timber Jerry below.

Timber Jerry
Our own brand of "superfun jumprock" - a blend of indie, rock, and pop. My songwriting partner Jim McNamee, and I, have also put together a parody of a Bryan Adams classic, we call it Summer of 89. Other musicians that make up the Timber Jerry family are Tom Kachoris, Jon Ulman, Dave Breslin, Tom Bianchi, Stuart Covington, Marc Sawyer, and Adam Schertzer. Emblem Music
My very own "label" (or publishing company) under the performing rights organization, BMI. This is where we publish the Timber Jerry works. The name comes from my original band, Emblem, where I basically learned to play guitar in a live setting. I tried singing back then, it was (and is) painful to listen to. That's the problem with recordings, they last forever. Nevertheless, I had a ton of fun with that band, and learned a lot from Chris Keating, an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist from Lynn, MA (he'll never say so, but he really is a talent).

The MusicShare
CD's are dead. They get lost, get scratched, and most importantly, they cost money. Sharing is much more fun, and since everybody has thin, white wires hanging from their ears - you gotta go digital.
